The Great weight DebateDear Friends,

It’s hard to believe my last post was four years ago but as I type it’s hard to believe it’s only been four years. They have been very full. I travelled to two new parts of our beautiful globe, French Polynesia and Greece. I fulfilled my goal of becoming a certified yoga instructor. I had the great fortune of welcoming two granddaughters into my world filling it with all the joy my heart can hold. I survived Covid and helped family, friends, and clients stay safe and healthy during the pandemic.

We are living in challenging times. However, in spite of the upheaval, stress, and fear, being homebound allowed me to slow down, hit the reset button, and finish the book I had been writing.

The Great Weight Debate helps you evaluate which diet will work for you and which can hurt you. It is the essential, trusted resource to sift through the minefield of recommendations and misinformation when choosing the best diet for weight loss success.

The idea for the book arose as I was witness to so many people putting time and effort into the wrong weight loss regimen and end in disappointment. How to lose weight is the topic of numerous conversations, articles, and television programs. Weight loss is inextricably tied to health and yet, in this day and age, dieting is a business, and the advice is not necessarily coming from health professionals. There are few resources available to help evaluate all the information encountered.  I provide a way to help people with this incredibly useful manual for anyone considering going on a diet.

The Great Weight Debate explains why and how to choose a diet that takes into account your food preferences and meets the needs of your lifestyle, schedule and food availability…a diet you can live with. Without advocating for any one diet, it summarizes many popular weight loss plans and explains the principles and research behind each diet. It will help you discover and understand the rules, food restrictions, and health risks of each diet.

In addition, read up on the new trends, the latest buzz, and the results of the most up-to-date research science has to offer. The book shares tried and true weight loss tips along with tips on achieving weight loss success and maintaining weight loss permanently.

So….Whether you choose Paleo, low carbohydrate, intermittent fasting, Whole30, or Mediterranean, do it with realistic expectations and do it smartly with The Great Weight Debate.
